AERO is constituted by two research groups GIA (Grupo de Ingeniería Aeroespacial) and EP2 (Equipo de Propulsión Espacial and Plasmas). The faculty of AERO is the main repsonsible at UC3M of the Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering, the Master in Aeronautical Engineering, the Master in Space Engineering, and the PhD program in Aerospace Engineering.
GIA and EP2 are involved in a large number of competitive research projects, supported by regional, national, and international funds. Both groups cultivate strong international collaborations and educational goals. Visit the webpage for their main areas of expertise and active projects
